Delicious ice cream served by pleasant staff in a super cute store front. Choice of a waffle cone, regular cone or dish. I had the cranberry chocolate chunk and my friend had the toasted coconut and we both agreed it was some of the best I've cream we've ever tasted. Be sure to stop in if you're in the area.
Out of this world delicious, freshly made with zero artificial ingredients. Generous scoops and outstanding selection of flavors. You can see them making fresh cheeses in the pristine workroom adjacent to the ice cream shop. They sell ice cream and cheeses here and a few other dairy items. The freshly baked warm cones fill the air with the most wonderful aroma.
The farm store features a selection of dairy products including ice cream, cheese, milk (flavored and regular) as well as what might be the best eggnog in CT (seasonally). On my visit, it was staffed by a bunch of high school kids who seemed annoyed by the customers which detracted from th ed experience. They do offer free samples to ensure you like what you are buying, which is nice. If you need more than dairy products, check out the Bantam Market just up the street, they carry Arethusa products as well as many other goods!
You can't beat the taste or quality of Arethusa's ice cream, especially the coffee and pumpkin. Out of this world! Make sure you try their homemade waffle cones, they are phenomenal .
Had The Perfect Sandwich and it WAS!!! Always get croissants and pecan bars to take home. Across the street at the dairy, we get milk, ice cream, and cheese. Now they have eggnog!!! YUMMY!!!
